We are proud of the fact that of the over 70 children who have been in Oranjia’s care since the move to the Group Homes in 1992, very few have become dependent on community resources and welfare. The majority have developed into self-sufficient adults who are making valuable contributions to society. This is not only gratifying in terms of the personal achievements of our past Oranjia children but also in terms of the significant financial implications for the community, i.e. not becoming welfare dependent adults.
